Kerrie Cox is a highly experienced advocate and litigator in employment, commercial, general civil, estate and family law.

Professional Background

Kerrie practiced as a Barrister in the UK for 12 years. He was admitted as an attorney in the Cayman Islands in 2010 and spent two years with a local law firm before leaving the islands in 2012 to join a niche family practice in Gibraltar. In 2013, he left the practice to serve as Principal Crown Counsel in the British Virgin Islands and then returned to the Cayman Islands in 2015. Kerrie’s experience in the commercial sector has enabled him to develop a highly regarded reputation as one of the jurisdiction’s leading practitioners.

In his role at HSM, Kerrie undertakes a wide spectrum of general dispute work such as: commercial and civil litigation, employment, personal injury and family matters including divorce and private/public child law. He is an active member of the Cayman Islands Family Law Bar Association.

Kerrie is an accredited mediator with ADR Chambers since 2003. He has performed mediations in both commercial and family matters across the UK and Cayman Islands.
